Help! Terrible lighting problem

I am making a game set in pitch black, only light being the players flashlight.

On one part of the map all the mesh’s have this weird glossy texture on them. I made the room in a separate level, while I was making it the gloss was super bad, but I deleted atmospheric fog and it seemed to fix it.

Now that ive copy pasted that room into this new level the problem is back. This time there is no atmospheric fog, or directional lighting, or skylight or anything. The only light present in that room is the players flash light. And the gloss is still there when the light is off.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

Hello,

I would check the reflections first. this is very similar to how reflection captures works and highly glossy and metallic materials get reflections from it

Thank you! I think the chain link fence was reflecting onto the wall in an ugly way, deleting sphere reflection fixed it.
