Having Light Shafts with no Sun Bloom

Hey,

I’m looking to create light shafts in engine using the directional light of the sun in UE4.8.3 but whenever I turn the bloom on (which needs to be on to create the shafts) it makes the sun way to bright and unbearable to look at due to the bloom coming off of it.

I was wondering if there was a way to cancel out/reduce the bloom on the sun while keeping the (more obvious) light shafts that the sun creates with that level of bloom.
