I have been working on baking the light in the environment and these artifacts are coming when I am baking the static light.
The artefacts that are occurring are back squares on boxes that are converted in the ISM actors. Even after converting them into Statc mesh, the artefacts remain even after breaking the lights within the environment.
If someone has a solution to this, It would be a great help.
The following are some screenshots of what kinds of artefacts I am experiencing after building the lights.
Hey Brop76,
In the materials, I have only have 1 texture map and I have remade it and reimported it as well. But there have been no changes that I have observed. Am still getting the same artefacts.
Nvm don’t listen to me it’s probably your graphics card. Because I have a 3070 mobile in my laptop and it’s fine so maybe it’s a problem with the graphics card
I recently got my 4070 and it didn’t have that kind of issue at the start. Trying to find a solution to this for a while now and couldn’t find anything that would help. I had an RTX 3060ti and an RX580 as well before this, and the artefact problem was still present on my PC then. I don’t think that might be a GPU issue… Cause I am not using GPU light mass… Am not sure
I am not sure about that part. Cause when using the default light baking method it uses the CPU. But if you use GPULight Mass, then it uses the GPU to bake the lighting.
Not 100% sure. But that is what I was told…
