GPU Lightmass no longer supported in 5.1 for older cards?

I’ve made the switch to Unreal Engine 5.1, and I have used GPU Lightmass in previous versions for my light baking, but the editor window now says that my GPU isn’t supported? However, I have literally used GPU Lightmass on UE4 and on UE5.0 with my GTX 1070 and it worked absolutely fine in the past. Why is it suddenly throwing this error? I haven’t been able to find anyone else with this issue.

I have Raytracing and Skin Cache enabled in the project settings, it’s on DX12, running Shader Model 6, and I have updated my GPU drivers to the latest ones.

Has Epic just removed support for non-RTX cards to use GPU Lightmass post-5.1? Is there any way to get it back or does this just version lock anyone without an RTX card to using 5.0?

hi @hermi444 and others, There is community support called Luoshuang’s GPULightmass for GTX 1050 and earlier and later like GTX 1080 up INCLUDING support for RTX cards
There is also a version for Unreal 4.27 somewhere, not supported me.

You will have to use
