Hi everyone,
For reference, this is in UE 5.2. I have a multi-GPU system, with a 2080 and a 1080. I use the 1080 to extend my desktops and route sound to a receiver, but isn’t something I want to use for Unreal.
I’ve “successfully” enabled GPU Lightmass like I usually do by going through the steps (RHI DX12, Hardware Raytracing, etc) – but at the end of it all…in the GPU Lightmass settings window it says “GPU Lightmass requires hardware raytracing which isn’t supported by your card”.
If I exit Unreal, go into Device Manager (windows 10) and disable the 1080, relaunch Unreal it DOES allow me to use GPU Lightmass.
So what I think is happening is that it’s seeing the 1080 (if enabled) and flagging my hardware as incompatible, despite my intention to only use the 2080 for Unreal.
Is there any console commands to where I can specify which GPU I’d like to use ID-wise with GPU Lightmass? I saw the section on multi-GPU, but that’s not my scenario and am actually only wanting to use the 2080.
Thank you for any help or guidance you might be able to give!
