GPU Error 98

Hey there!

I have had an issue with the Image Allignment where i would always get the GPU Error 98. I went to the alignment settings and went to advanced where I have turned off GPU acceleration and so far it seems to be working alright. I don´t know if this issue is already known so i just wanted to let the developer know. Keep up the great work. You guys are doing an awesome job!

My hardware:

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800 X3D

GPU: AMD 9070 XT

Confirming this on RDNA 3 as well — so it is not limited to RDNA 4.

SYSTEM

  • GPU: Radeon RX 7800 XT (gfx1101, RDNA 3)
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • OS: Windows 11, build 26100
  • Adrenalin driver: 26.7.1
  • RealityScan: 2.2.0.119430

Image alignment fails with GPU Error 98 on every attempt. Small dataset, 27 NEF images of a simple object, nothing unusual about the capture.

Workaround is the same.
