I have had an issue with the Image Allignment where i would always get the GPU Error 98. I went to the alignment settings and went to advanced where I have turned off GPU acceleration and so far it seems to be working alright. I don´t know if this issue is already known so i just wanted to let the developer know. Keep up the great work. You guys are doing an awesome job!
My hardware:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800 X3D
GPU: AMD 9070 XT
Confirming this on RDNA 3 as well — so it is not limited to RDNA 4.
SYSTEM
Image alignment fails with GPU Error 98 on every attempt. Small dataset, 27 NEF images of a simple object, nothing unusual about the capture.
Workaround is the same.

Hi Jakub! I can help test the fix, as I am using an RX 9070 XT also with the 26.9.1 AMD drivers. However, I am unsure how to DM you as the option may not be available.
Hi, so there is no need to download a new version.
All you have to do is to download the amdhip64_7.dll from this Box link:
and copy it directly to the RealityScan install folder.
Please let me know if it helps. We can’t reproduce any crashes on our AMD GPUs that we have ourselves.
Cheers @JakubVanko ! Did some further testing as a I noticed that AMD released drivers 26.9.2 (thinking it would help).
Having reinstalled RS and using these new 26.9.2 drivers I still get the GPU Error (98) during Alignment on a fresh install (utilised the tutorial Demo/Sample, as this seems fastest to test).
However, something may have changed (and I did not notice it before): after dropping the DLL you shared next to RealityScan.exe, the error message went away but RS still crashes after a while longer with about 3-4 modals popping up in quick succession saying that “something went wrong”. And at least Dumps are getting created.
