GoogleVR: Enable gyro when stereo rendering is off

I built an app with the Google VR plugin.
The default gyro support is fantastic and I’d love to use this for a non-stereo rendered game if I could!

I tried using Execute Console Command with Blueprint input Stereo Off as my command.

The app kept running but the gyro tracking stopped.

Is there any way to keep the gyro enabled?
