I am making a pretty normal building apartment setup for a level design. It has a fairly long corridor along the length of it. I am no trying to achieve any photorealism. I want the sunlight to light up the whole corridor by means of diffused light that is coming in from both the ends of the corridor. I want to avoid any point/rect light inside the corridor if possible. Please help in how to get maximum light diffusion for interiors of the building.
Thanks
Well if you’re not after realism, just a diffuse lighting, you can turn off cast shadow for your light…
If you do need a bit of realism and want to keep it’s shadows: I’d go with lower intensity and tune the “brightness” (= exposure) in postprocess!
Hi! Thank you so much for your comment. I tried to do what you have stated here but I was not really able to achieve the desired result as changing exposure in post lit the outsides of the building too much. I want a way to increase the dispersion of the Sunlight/directional light so much so that the interior (corridor) could get lit up enough that an acceptable visibility could be achieved.
I am attaching a screenshot of the building.
You know you can use multiple postprocess volumes?
