Sadly, a lot of the original creators behind these sample learning projects moved on, and now that the UE forums are mostly aimed at Fortnite noobs, many of those same devs aren’t likely to return.
Epic basically buried the whole Community-Tools section under a tombstone after upgrading to Discurse. That wasn’t much encouragement to anyone to actually keep links updated. Its a pity Epic undervalues or looks down on this whole section and demotes it (guess they never saw the value). But equally, for those who question Epic’s ability to create worthwhile docs… Know this:
This section minted a whole era of game devs and gave them a real start at game dev.
You could try posting on unreal slackers and see if anyone has a copy of projects you need. While Epic weren’t generous in supporting Community-Tools, they are in giving away projects from time to time. If you collect enough of those, there may be some overlap at least.
