Seems like a good idea. But like what happened here, Epic like to nuke good ideas. 
Meanwhile most creators / publishers turned their backs on the Forums years ago (lots of experienced devs too sadly). That seems like a lost opportunity or self-defeating. 
Overall, Epic have been making some strange choices in recent years. Point gun at foot territory just to see what happens. 
Part of the problem is Epic staff don’t seem to have to use their own tools everyday (from the Forums to Fab), and so don’t see the problems. Example: The Discourse SCROLLBAR on here is mostly UX HELL (versus separate pages with quick back / forward links).
But guess what… Epic have decided to bring the same scrollbar over to Fab. Gotta ask, does anyone actually enjoy infinite-scrolling their own Asset Library on Fab?! There are 100’s of other Fab threads this week questioning reality. But Epic seem tone deaf to them all, to all feedback really. Instead its all just rush rush rush to market whatever the cost. What can you say? It all seems a bit strange.
