Hi! We have the exact same issue as in the thread above, has there been any movement on this bug behind the scenes, potentially an early shelve we can look at?

Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any internal movement on the issue (UE-222872) and in looking into what happened and the change history, I suspect it might have been assigned to the wrong team. I’m following up with folks internally and hope to have more information early next week.

Happy new year! The issue was correctly reassigned and fixed in the following changelist:

CL#49763583 Fixed incorrect instance count caused by updates to HISMs affected by density scaling.
