Foliage Meshes Grouped Under Same InstancedFoliageActor - How to Separate in Outliner?

Summary

In this image, I have two separate static meshes: X (in blue) and Y (in red). They’re placed in foliage mode in the same level. However, both meshes are grouped under the same ‘InstancedFoliageActor’ in the Outliner on the right, which makes it difficult to manage them separately.

What I’d like is for these meshes to be placed into different folders in the Outliner—for example, mesh X in one folder and mesh Y in another—so that I can select and manage them individually without them being combined under the same ‘InstancedFoliageActor.’

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Unreal Engine and create a new level.
  2. Enter Foliage Mode and add two seperate instance but with the same static meshes (e.g., Mesh X and Mesh Y) to the foliage painting tool.
  3. Paint both meshes on the landscape in separate areas (Mesh X in one area, Mesh Y in another).
  4. Open the Outliner and observe that some of the meshes are grouped under the same “InstancedFoliageActor.”
  5. Try to organize Mesh X and Mesh Y into separate folders within the Outliner, but notice that they remain grouped under the same “InstancedFoliageActor.”

Expected Result

Each instance of the static mesh (Instance X and Instance Y) should appear under separate folders or ‘InstancedFoliageActor’ components in the Outliner, allowing them to be managed and selected independently."

Observed Result

some of the instances of the static mesh (Instance X and Instance Y) are grouped under the same ‘InstancedFoliageActor’ in the Outliner, making it difficult to manage or select them independently.
