Foliage cast static shadows

Hi,
Why my foliage doesn’t cast static shadows despite of set “Cast Shadow” and “Cast Static Shadow” in foliage settings?

What type of light are you using in your scene and is it set to static or movable?

It’s movable directional light.

I’m so far not able to reproduce the same behavior myself. Is the tree you’re using a custom asset or did it come with the editor? Also, do you notice the same behavior in a new project?

It’s SpeedTree sample Conifer (Billboard). Yes, it happens also in new project.

Casting static shadows from foliage was added in the 4.3 version of the editor. If you are on an earlier version then this feature will not be available.
