Version: v0.234.0
Shipped to Production: 31 October 2024
Website Bug Fixes
Added support for generating a Sales Report for Fab Sellers.
Implemented fixes to address a smaller number of items that could not be added to the cart.
Fixed an issue during the publishing process, where the “convert files” option would appear active despite no file being selected.
Fixed an issue where the displayed publication date was the date the product was last updated on Fab. This was also causing confusion when sorting by date, as it was sorting by the published date but displaying the Fab last update date. Now, the original publication date (in many cases prior to Fab’s launch, for products that were migrated to Fab from Sketchfab or UE Marketplace) will appear. The update is ongoing and will be complete soon.
Fixed an issue with the 3D viewer where some animation names that used unsupported characters were causing the 3D viewer to crash.
Fixed a small typo in the error message that would appear when an “Additional files” upload failed.
Fixed an issue where some assets that were purchased would prompt to be re-purchased when a user tries to download them.
Performance improvements made to the Library when handling UE files by reducing the number of database calls.
Fix to ensure the correct category pills are used when there is (and is not) a parent category selected.
Fixed an issue where returning to a search result after entering a listing from that search would cause unrelated global search results to appear for a brief period of time.
Implemented further fixes to ensure thumbnails on the homepage display correctly.
Implemented fixes to better handle the upload of very large file sizes.
Integrations
Converted files are now prioritized over FBX files, which tend to be more unpredictable.
Improved link handling in the plugin
Fixed an issue where users were seeing the drag and drop hand icon on assets they did not own.

Website Bug Fixes
Fixed the issue where Sellers were unable to download 3D downloadable content from listings they themselves created.
Fixed an issue where users could not make a purchase using the iDEAL payment method
Fixed an issue with the Sales Report where changing date range made the report lines within that range disappear
Updated the copy of the Megascans “Claim All” webpage to be clearer - it now reads: “Claim them now and then download from the Quixel Profile page when you’re ready to use them”.
Integrations
UE5: Users are now alerted when they import an Unreal Engine format from a UE version that is not compatible with the version of UE they are using. This is just a warning message and does not block importing the asset.
UEFN: Fixed an issue where some purchased assets would show “View in Vault” instead of “Add to Content Browser”.

Integrations
UE5: Fixed an issue where .glb and .gltf formats that had been automatically converted when the listing was created were not showing up as part of the search results.
Miscellaneous

Website Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the “Epic Developer Community” link was missing from users’ profile pages.
Fixed an issue where sellers could select more than one UE version when uploading an Unreal Engine format for a plugin-type listing. This change has been made as it was causing some plugins to be incorrectly built and so users were unable to download them in the Epic Games Launcher. Note: Engine version selection capability for asset packs and projects remains unchanged.
Miscellaneous
General improvements to handle file uploads more quickly.
Various background changes to support sales infrastructure.
