Hello there,
I’m encountering a problem in rendering one of my scenes. I have searched and tried many things already for this problem, but still no luck honestly.
What I’m experiencing is that in certain frames the fog as seen on the video is either flickering or sometimes is disappearing. I don’t really know what’s the issue or what I may change to test more.
I’m rendering with Movie Render Queue and I’m in Unreal 5.5.3 using Lumen and Mega Lights.
Lights:
Ray Casting Shadows - Enabled
Inderecting Scattering in many lights (point lights & directional lights): On with various values
Exponential Fog Settings:
Played around with Start Distance of Volumetric Fog (as I don’t want the camera to be affected by it in certain distance.
I increased the Extinction Scale by a lot as well as the Rendering Distance, still no luck.
Movie Render Queue Settings:
Anti-Aliasing:
Spatial Sample Counts: 1
Temporal Sample Counts: 24
Output Settings:
3840x2160
Warm Up Frames: 300
Game Overrides: On
Console Variables:
r.ScreenPercentage: 125
r.BloomQuality: 4
r.ShadowQuality: 5
Any feedback or comment is more than appreciated. Thank you!
