Error "Failed to sync project MyProject with content service" prevents session launch

Hi!

Whenever I open my UEFN project, I’m greeted with an error message:
image

This connection issue prevents me from launching a session or publishing my project. I have tried logging in and/or out of the launcher, verifying the game files, and restarting my computer, none of which have solved the issue.

There have been two times when I have been able to open this project without the error, launch a session, and play my project in a game instance, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to replicate these successes.

Here’s the error as it appears in the output log:

LogValkyrie: Error: Failed to sync project MyProject with content service:
Failure ErrorCode=errors.com.epicgames.online.generic.connection_failure, Message=Connection to the server failed., Raw=connection_failure

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

8 months later and I’m still having the issue, and have found no relevant solutions online :frowning:

Hey so I actually found a fix that worked for me. Deleting the “.urc” file in my project fixed the issue for me.

Thank you!!! It worked! You’re the best

Well, it worked a few times, but now I’ll delete the .urc and still have exactly the same issue. Let me know if anyone finds another solution!
