The download magically started working. Has there been any changes from Unreal’s side?
I also reran the launcher, and am currently at 41%. Hopefully everything works as it did!
Thanks, it’s downloading now for me.
After running as Admin via Windows 7.
Installing Update (Got stuck on 81% but just left it)
It is now Installing UE4
Might be a fix you just placed?
I had UE4 installed on my old PC with no issues for about a week, the PC had 2 hard drives, one for the OS and program installs, the other for data, however, in the case of UE4 I installed to my data drive which also contained my Unreal Projects folder.
I’ve since built a new PC with all new hardware apart from the hard drives which have come out of the old machine. Did a fresh install of Windows 7 x64 on my OS drive and tried moving the UE4 installation from my unformatted data drive into the default install location but got errors on trying to launch it so I deleted those folders and tried a new install of UE4 (again, my projects folder has remained untouched on my data HDD).
I got the subscribe error so tried uninstalling/re-installing, tried another location incase my previous effort of just pasting the UE4 folder had messed something up, and also tried the various fixes that were floating about when this issue surfaced on here last night with no joy.
I’ve just removed the “-CPLabel=QFE2” extension from the launcher shortcut and it has re-downloaded the regular launcher. Opening this has now made it start downloading the engine
I’m up to around 65% of the download so will report back if I am able to load the engine once it finishes.
Download finished and engine launching correctly Thanks for the fixes!
