First time launch. Installed Unreal Engine Launcher, nothing happened after that. No downloads, nothing.
Don’t have access to logs right now, but I will add them when I can.
Same issue, it’s my first time using the launcher.

Hi,
Also the same problem. First time on my Windows 7 64 bit version:
Launcher Version 1.0.0-2039063+++depot+UE4-LauncherReleases
Any clues on how long it might take to fix. Installing Visual Studio 2013, downloading source and compiling will take a while in itself. Trust me to subscribe when you are having such problems.
Let us know if this is your first time attempting to use UE4, or if it was working for you previously.
=> This is the first time I’m attemting to use UE4
Tell us your Launcher’s Version number, which can be found in the bottom-left corner of the Launcher.
=> 1.0.0-2039063+++depot+UE4-LauncherReleases
If you are using a Mac, please attach a zip file with your log, located here: /Users//Documents/UnrealEngineLauncher/Saved/Logs
=> Attached log.zip
In the same zip attachment, please also include your system’s dxdiag
=> Not available at Mac OSX

Just reran the launcher after seeing Papasmurfo’s comment and mine is now updating instead of just the sub button showing. Fingers crossed it completes successfully
Success, many thanks Epic for your time in sorting this out
Was having the same problem, posed in the other thread here:
Today, the Unreal Launcher did an update, and I was immediately greeted with an Install button.
