Emissive from NDI in Lumen

Hi everybody!

So i’m channeling some textures from TouchDesigner through NDI plugin, trying to recreate real-life behavior of a big LED screen with Lumen.
But no matter which setting i change i can not power up the impact of emission from “LED panel” on the enviorment without completly blowing out the screen texture.

Do you know how i can power up the emission influence on the GI without getting the picture on screen messed up?
i’ve tried already to amplify the lumen final gather settings in PPV but it didn’t help.

That would be a question for the exposure system more than anything else; local exposure can probably help you out.

That being said, in general, you want to avoid using textures like that for lumen. Emissive lighting works, but only if the lighting is relatively dim and the surface casting it is relatively big. Since your emissive lighting depends on a lot of fine features, I wouldn’t expect it to light well without noise, but there are ways you can mitigate that and still have a similar effect to what you want.

You can use the ray tracing quality switch node to boost GI contribution independently.
