Summary
UPDATED EXPLANATION* since its very hard to describe this problem
Lets say Verse Device A has a array of objects XYZ Object XYZ holds a editable for a button. In Verse Device A, all objects XYZ have their buttons configured When you duplicate this device to create Verse Device B, the buttons will get mixed up across the obejcts in the array within this Verse Device. → One object can point to multiple buttons (even though there is only one editable) After duplicating, the affected editable slots will be permanently broken. Clearing them and setting up the buttons again manually doesn’t change anything. The only solution here is to add a new editable.
When duplicating a verse device and all the devices linked in it, the new verse device uses the new duplicated devices but also the original devices thats linked with the original verse device. If i duplicate verse device A linked with Button device A then i get Verse Device B with Button Device B. The problem is that Verse device B is linked with Button device A and B. Here is a video of my pop up being showed 3 times instead of once as its supposed to.
- IMPORTANT NOTE here is that the new verse device displays its using the new and correct values even tho its affecting the old devices.
