Distance field effect creates artifacts

After turning on this effect, such artifacts appeared. Also interested in whether it is possible to enable the distance field, turning off its influence on the consecration? I need the distance field to create ripples in the water material. artifacts do not disappear even if the distance field is disabled in the mesh settings

Check the mesh distance field debug views, turn up the resolution on assets that need it. Turn on 2 sided mesh distance fields on foliage. Set the resolution to 0 or turn it off on meshes that don’t need it.


I have already enabled a two-sided distance field for the foliage. As I wrote above, the “affect distance field” was turned off in the meshes settings.
