Since Fortnitemares 2025 update, all categories of newly uploaded maps are no longer being indexed into their respective collections correctly, regardless of actual quality/stats.

Steps to Reproduce
Publish a new island with the Horror/Tycoon tags or similar
Wait for indexing into correct tabs
Indexing will never occur
Expected Result
If Island is of good quality and retention, it should be indexed into the correct categories (i.e. Horror, Survival, Tycoon). This is particularly affecting Horror, Survival, and Tycoon type maps, but it appears to be affecting all islands.
Observed Result
The island is never placed in any categories and is no longer visible.

The last post about this was taken down entirely even though there was an active discussion. This leads me to believe there may be some motive or changes occurring to these categories. I am sure the community would appreciate transparency here.
As I can see this issue is affecting all the categories and this thing is going on for several months. I see a lot of cool maps from me or other creators hitting Discover with New and updated for less then 1h and then expire without the possibility of hittings other major tabs.
I have published a Pillar map (4194-5246-3286) on Nov 1 that I have deactivated after 1 hour because one of mine Verse codes was messed up by the V 38.00 Update. I have published again the map on Nov 3 and I have never got any Doscovery or Collections tabs. The most frustrating thing is that I have worked on this map for some months, improved my 3D modelling skills and improved my material knowledge allow me to create a lot of cool wraps and others that i’m working on. I’m sure that my Pillar is an high quality map, surely better than other popular maps of this section. Be invisible after putting so much passion on that project is devasting. I have played the map with some firends and all agree on the fact that the map is really fun and well balanced. I really would like to let other pepople know about this map.
The thought of spending so much time on a project without any guarantee of visibility is terrible.
The question I ask myself now is: is it still worth continuing to create projects on this platform or maybe I should move somewhere else?
See it for yourself, absolutely all the games that got into discovery or collection were released before the fortnitemares update and none of the games post fortnitemares!
I’ve even talked to someone on the Ouch team (Horror creators, 113M minutes played) that released their brand new game after the fortnitemares update. They’ve said themselves that something like this never happened to them before.
If you release a horror game now, it’s absolutely impossible to get into discovery or collection. Period.
This is a question I’ve been thinking about for a long time @Paolixfn. For the first year or so I gave epic the benefit of the doubt for being a brand new platform but theyve proven time and time again that they may not be as stable as they seem.
Other platforms may be the move if things are not fixed. And thats unfortunate because Unreal is so good.
