Different lighting since update

Hi community,

I’ve updated my UDK (Engine 3) from version June 2013 to May 2014. I opened my file and it looked way to bright. I coudln’t figure out why so I just opened the standard environment. Even that looks too bright. The attached image below shows the change. It seems that the gamma value and the brightness are set to 0,5 and +0,5 (speaking in photoshop terms, I don’t know how they are measured in Unreal). Why is that so and where do I change them? I’m still new to the engine so I’m happy with hints of what to check - menues, ini files, buttons etc. - then I can explore the variables. The in-editor illumination settings are the same in both versions so it can’t be that I think
