I loaded up my island in uefn, only to find out that a lot of stuff is missing. Billboards are gone, the ziplines are gone. The barrier devices that i had in the island are gone. The walls i used from the impostor gallery are gone, some visual effects that i used are gone. I had a message saying in the top right corner that i had to click repair button, so i did, but half of my map is just gone!
Steps to Reproduce
What ever has caused this issue that things disappear, undo this please. and or give a explanation as to why half of the map is gone.
Expected Result
To have all the assets back to where they should be
Observed Result
I want my map back, what ever error this is, no way that so many devices/barriers and other creative assets can just completely disappear.

So as said, when loading up the map, i saw that half of the map was gone, barriers missing, ziplines are gone, some walls are gone, billboards have disappeared. I have never encountered this before, it said on the top right that i had to click the repair button, but that did do nothing. when searching for the billboard and or any of the other devices i had in this map are not even in the menu?? It is like the whole creative gallery is just gone?! Referenced content that i downloaded, everything is just gone?!
So i loaded in to another island, and the same error is popping up there as well. In the fortnite menu, like persee searching for the billboard, nothing there, canât even find a checkpoint in the menu. It is like as if all the creative devices are just missing from the menu, and since it is missing in the menu it is also missing on the island.
I have seen on both islands, that the island setting device is missing. I manually have put that back, and then all creative devices are available again, however, all the work that i have done is not.
It maybe would make sense if some how the island setting device accidently got deleted, but with opening up another island that i have not been on in a while, the same issue occurs. It goes for other islands as well.
So i have absolutely no idea what is going and why this happening.
Just a follow up from my side. Even though i have added the island settings device manually, and pushed the changes, this however did not save, and i am still getting the same error message, and this also does nothing to fix what ever is going on.
There is absolutely nothing that i can do now, my whole map is now unusable, and so is every other map. even when trying to make a new map, i only have two templates to choose from, everything else is gone. What is going on?

No i have not, the map is absolutely useless. However, i have seen that all the templates are back, and i have been able to start a new map, this does mean i am starting over. I have not heard anything back from that bug report.
Itâs strange that we both have an identical issue that appeared on the same day as the update, so itâs likely that this is connected to the update and something within our map.
Well i started a new island, and all was fine, but it happenend again. Same error thingy! I am really getting pissy now, all that work for absolutely nothing again!!! and still have heard anything back about this!!
Having the same error again, have been working on this map for a couple of days now, and now again i can not do anything. I will lose out because of this!! The island settings are gone again. This needs to be fixed asap! Any compensation for this? already lost 2 weeks of work due to the first error, and no losing another half week. Can i expect compensation now?

What ever that means?!!!
However, i have searched and searched my but off to try and look up what this mean.
The only thing that i could think off, is that there is something corrupt going on.
I have removed the last thing that i have imported ( bear in mind, that i have been working on this map for several days now and had no issues at all, for the last two hours i have been trying over and over to reload uefn, closing and opening etc )
But i have removed the last imported thing ( is also on the other map )
And i loaded uefn again, and i have no error, island settings are back, my devices are back, checkpoints etcâŚ
What does baffles my mind, there will be hundreds of people that will know exactly what it meant, and or what to do, and nobody helps. So for you, please have a look in to what has been put on the island as last, and delete that. Since it does work for your teammates, the corruption is then probably on your pc. ( if i am wrong, i am sorry )
Brother, I was able to solve the problem. You were right; it was an issue with our computer. I reinstalled Windows, and everything is working normally again. I hope that the problem doesnât happen again because I have already lost four days and cannot afford to lose more.

Yeah unfortunately i am going through the same thing as we speak. And yes i do have fab content on my island, however, this has disappeared along with the island settings.
Do you have any luck? I started all over again, and was fine of a couple of days, only to have it on the new island again? I have multiple unusable islands now. I am ready to pull me hair out!
