Debugging in Rider on Ubuntu not possible because Mouse disappears

Hi

I recently switched from Windows to Kubuntu. First time debugging in Unreal (5.6 built from source). Im using Rider and start the editor in Debug mode using Rider. Breakpoint is in some input handling method. When the breakpoint is hit, Rider goes to the front, but it seems like the mouse keeps being locked to Unreal or the Unreal Editor Viewport and I cannot see it or interact in any way. I cannot use the OS anymore properly. Using Alt+Tab I can switch to Rider, then Alt+F4 to terminate everything and get my mouse back.

I dont have much experience with Linux. I cant remember that I ever had issues like that on Windows. I guess this is something OS-specific and can happen not only with Unreal? Id like to always be able to bring the mouse back to the OS

Anyone experienced this before and knows how to deal with it?
