I confirm, After changing the regional format and language of windows to English, It works without crash. I guess this was the issue that everybody was searching since some months.

Solution:
I change to dot delimiter for digits in Regional Settings in Windows Control Panel.
- 3ds max start and work. Export functions present.
- Datasmith format for export available.
- Buttons for toolbar is present in Customize group Datasmith.
- Modifier is present.

May be epic coders hard-code using dot as delimeter. Without taking into account national differences.
Thank you. It also worked for me changing the “,” symbol to a “.” symbol in the number settings completely solved the problem. Direct link works.
I only changed the symbol, no other action was required

hello to make plugins 5.3 work with 3ds max 2024 you have to set the regional format to english (united states). Just as mentioned by some users. I am Italian and it is not convenient for me to have these settings. Now that you know it is related to reading dates can you make hotfix so that you don’t have to make this win 11 system change
