Hi, I have an issue with a large prop I have tried resizing it smaller but the issue persists I started at 80x human size but have scaled it down the 30x, damage volumes as attached in cinematics load and unload during gameplay, the same types of action for regular size 1x works fine, is this a known issue?
@JDLTorre Thank you for your report! Can you please re-post using the “New Issue” option on the Issues and Bug Reporting forums? Posts with this feature are connected directly into our development team so we can quickly get to them!

Sounds like bug, in editor, when doing a Build Landscape, the large volumes get flagged for causing lighting or shadow issues, so size has probs there.
Can you clear the material slot for it ?
thanks will try and that and see if it persists, also then I will try with less light settings to see if that allows it to work better.
so I disabled all shadows on mesh prop & damage volumes and set time of day to 2am which I was eventually going to do anyways and they still showed, however as a side benefit it appears my prop collision is better as my giant kaiju type beastie now can knock me around and do variable damage that way. I hope the bug for damage volumes gets fixed at a latter time as I also want to try a fire breathing dragon and likely will need to do things diff but for this particular beastie its not a stopper thx
sorry I will check with the material slot cleared on another project with the same thx
wow confirmed it seems if I use a prop and have 0 materials attached i.e. its just got the grid no material look I don’t see the damage volume
I had a look and couldn’t find a material slot for the damage volumes box in it, or in any of its children, theres only a material slot for the devices base node thing, a pity.
Excellent, nice work
yeah I also looked at if you were speaking of the damage volumes itself for a material, I went through it and its children and saw 1 spot and was going to try and give it a transparent material and it gave me a warning iirc, I will doublecheck at least I know where its failing it might be the particular kaiju I am using has to many materials as well dragons I have only have 2 or 3 max so I will double check all that as well
not sure what it means by this and creating a material instance doesn’t work either will have to try and look that up
found what texture data is and its def going to be useful for other things but in this case nope damage volumes don’t have those settings oh well.
thanks!
