[CRITICAL] Stuck on Loading into Creative... and then network connection lost since the last Update (Every time)

Summary

When Launching Session, Fortnite gets stuck on Loading into Creative screen for around 5 minutes and then gives network connection error ever since the new Update came out. I haven’t been able to access my maps for two days in a row now. Occasionally it crashes as well. I have tried multiple steps including opening Fortnite before launching session and then start it but it does not help. I have seen few posts about it but now I am worried not everyone has this issue.

Additional Notes

When I try to get two testers on the project, the one on console manages to get into server while the one on PC (main/owner) does not manage to get into the project.

I just disabled URC and got straight in  try that

No delay like fast

Might help be ob know that your URC wont backup your data

I honestly don’t know how to disable URC.

But it is quite important for me to backup updates since each version code is important for me to understand and revert back in case I have an error on build. I don’t think I want to disable it but thank you! :weary:

I am currently reinstalling both the game and the uefn right now, Thank you tho I will try this and let you know if it works!

Hey, @Karo-Bube , thank you again, I have tried your method multiple times but unfortunetly its the same situation. I am just stuck on Loading into your Edit session, sometimes the game even crashes. It happend after the update and its so frustrating.

@thechironsson Did you follow the charge status in UEFN during the charging process in Fortnite? Sometimes the connectivity breaks down there and it helps if you then start again immediately in UEFN.

Otherwise, my sympathies - it’s really frustrating as a creator when the crafting tool doesn’t work properly (but I’m glad EPIC Games gives us such a great option - I think it will all improve)

Experiencing the exact same issue here. Can’t launch my islands for testing from UEFN. Disabling URC/Windows firewall didn’t make any difference unfortunately.

check your firewall settings i found out mine was blocking some epic things so i assume this was deffo related.

This post

Explains it abit more so take a look here and i hope it helps as it did for me

Hey @AtAshTag just tried that and still no luck. Thank you tho. The problem is still there, it happend after the last update and I have been seeing so many forum posts about this so I know I am not the only one who is in this position. I still believe its update related but interestingly other peoples maps just work so idk.

i think its deffo update related and i strongly feel that the update changed files and windows defender or your own anti virus doesn’t like it and blocks it

I don’t wanna show my firewall things on here for obv reasons but deffo check to ensure its not blocking anything related to epic.

I had the exact same issues like a replica and thats what caused mine so i somewhat feel you have the same issue

a quick google search will show how to check on any program or windows default one

@flak

Is they a web address related to the system when you launch session people can copy and paste into their web browser to check if its being blocked by virus software ???

This would be so good for people if they was something the team could suggest

@thechironsson also ensure you verify the installation i did this also

@AtAshTag Yeah I have verifed my files, reinstalled the game, check my internet stability, checked my firewall, I even did find a thread where they discussed it could be AM5 motherboard related, and some people got their issue fixed by updating the BIOS. I did update it and its still the same. So I am more on update related problem here. But I will dig deeper about the firewall like you mentioned to see if we could get anywhere.
