Summary

When loading in Creative on the Xbox One and Xbox One S, you get stuck in the hub unable to play or do anything

Steps to Reproduce

Select Creative and Ready Up

Expected Result

To simply load in and hangout with Friends and work on your islands

Observed Result

You appear suspen in the air with your charac gone, stuck, and glitched health with it saying in the feed that you “Left the game” twice.

This has been around for 3 Updates now and ive tried to reach out as much as i can because this is a serious issue that to me is the equivalent to not being able to load into Battle Royale itself. My friends are unable to play and i use to be on the Xbox One S and if I hadn‘t gotten a Series X then id be screwed. I’m scared that they aren’t ever gonna fix this because i’m just one person and no seems to have reported on this bug. Please fix this issue!

Praying this gets seen, i’m worried if not then they ain’t gonna fix this.

That is a horrible glitch! I have voted on your topic. Hopefully it will get seen and something will be done about it.

I’m on the Xbox Series X, this happens to Xbox One and Xbox One S players who ready up and load into Creative Mode just to get stuck in a limbo of sorts. This has been happening for 3 Updates now. Being stuck in the hub when trying to load into creative on The Xbox One and S.

My Friend has been having this and I was just about to post about it, we tried everything including:
Restarting Console, Restarting Fortnite, and Unequipping all cosmetics. These didn’t help, he’s on an Xbox One X (old gen)

Well I got a reply under this post confirming that it has been forwarded through so i’m hoping this gets fixed soon. Great to hear that I wasn’t the only one that knew about this. Because this is seriously bad hahaha.

I hope they did. I just want an EPIC Employee to be all like “We fixed it pal” then i’ll be on my merry way lol

Hi, I believe it has been fixed!! My friend on the Xbox One loads in decently fast now and doesn’t get stuck. My other friend who plays on the Xbox One S hasn’t tried yet but i’m sure it will work but if you don’t mind i’ll reply again as fast as possible for when he does.

I got one question though. I’m not sure if i can ask this or not haha but as a Creative 1.0 Player…will we eventually get the Chapter 5 Nature? I know i shouldn’t ask or bother but boy, i’ve been begging for Chapter 5’s Trees and Foliage to make my islands look European or Olympian or even Red Hot Desert now haha. I’m not sure how hard it is to make a Chapter 5 Tree Gallery but I thought i’d test my waters and ask. Sorry to bother you with that i just love Chapter 5’s Island Stuff!!

||UPDATE|| I have reason to believe it’s still occurring, I’ve just checked the Bugs Forum and saw someone else report this issue as late as of today (an hour ago from typing this). So no, I do NOT believe it has been resolved.

This bug was happening to us as well, the exact bug and circumstances.

However, before 30.20, the Xbox was still able to connect to creative after exiting and re-entering the lobby once the bug was encountered. It was a huge inconvenience to constantly have to reconnect, but at least the connection was established.

After updating to 30.20, today the Xbox is unable to establish any connection to a creative session. This bug is reproduced with every attempt to connect, despite many troubleshooting steps taken like re-installing, hard re-booting, etc.

Seems like we were able to fix the issue with a full re-install, hard reboot combo on the Xbox. Didn’t even have to ‘double load’ like usual, so hopefully it is fixed for good.
