Creating Realistic Underwater Lighting Effects in Unreal Engine 5 Water Plugin"

Hey ue forum. I’m working on a diving/horror styled game right now and am facing a problem with the water plugin. The post processing seems to block almost everything it comes in contact with including the lighting. I have found work arounds and enough to keep me going on other problems but lighting underwater seems to have no remedy.

So any tips on how to get a flashlight for an example work underwater. Or even any lighting “:-D”.

To simplify this is the difference with post process and without it. Somehow without a background the light refuses to manifest on the screen. But for example if i shine it with the ground behind it, then it shows almost normally.
