Just as editor is preparing to launch cooked game, directly after compressing reduced-quality lightmaps, editor crashes and bumps back out to Windows. If I choose to copy callstack, only info I get is this:

No word on what is causing it to fail, so it is entirely unclear whether it is a problem with UE4, some sort of software conflict on my system, or a hardware conflict of some description. To be fair, I’m currently running editor below stated requirements (4gb RAM instead of 8gb), but I cannot imagine that would cause anything other than slow compilation.
project runs absolutely fine if I choose to play inside editor.

Hi , crash reporter did and does not give me option to view any kind of crash log as stated above. All I can view is callstack which gives me placeholder text listed above.
Machine specs are as follows:
Intel Core i3 2120 (4 logical cores)
Nvidia GTX 650 Ti Boost (2gb RAM, GDDR5), 332.21 drivers
4gb DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 sp1 64-bit
Got about 70gb free on primary hard drive, so I cannot imagine I’m hitting any sort of virtual memory limitation either.
Thanks Beaucephal. You can find your log files in your project’s folder (in your Documents) in Saved\Logs.

As one last test, can you try deleting Shooter Game project and redownloading / reinstalling? Thanks!
Following up on that and more poking around, project builds and plays fine if I choose to play in-editor, as a separate window, or as a separate process, so my best guess is it must have something to do with how UE4 handles creating final cooked build.

Did a clean-room reinstall of editor and several sample projects. Mobile Temple, Reflections Subway and all included templates build and launch with no errors, but error in Shooter Demo persists.
Would you mind walking me through your process, step-by-step, for building and launching level so I know I’m following you exactly? I did a simple Launch from Toolbar, and did not run into a crash, but maybe I’m leaving out one of your steps.
Yep, that’s exactly what I did. Simply opened project through UE4’s frontend program. Once project had loaded, I hit ‘Launch’, at which point editor spent roughly a half hour cooking content before crashing. Absolutely no intermediate steps.
