Hi, I’m not a developer but a couple of my friends have been experiencing an error that causes our game to crash while starting up. Two of my friends are completely unable to open their game, Beasts of Bermuda, and unfortunately it appears to be an issue with Unreal Engine instead of the game itself.
I’ve found other forums with the same error, but different games, which is why I think so. However no one has been able to find a solution it seems. I’m certified in IT but not coding so I’m trying to figure out what else might be able to fix this issue. We have restarted the PC, re-installed the game, verified the files, tested different RAM sticks with known-good ones, but the error remains the same.
Please let me know if there’s any way I can get any kind of help with this. Not even the game devs know what to do about this issue, thank you.
Here is an image of the error he got, and image of the crash report. I also have the UE4Minidump file and the CrashContext.runtime file if those are needed but I’m not sure how to view them or send them.
