Cinematic Scalability Setting breaks Far Shadows

Has happened since Cinematic quality options were introduced, easy to reproduce…

Place Directional light set to movable, enable far shadows on the light and on something in the level which is big enough to cast far shadows (turn cascaded shadow distance to 2000 to make it easier to see) and switch from epic to cinematic quality settings on shadows, on Epic settings it works as expected but on Cinematic it breaks completely past the distance set for Cascaded Shadows.

For me it’s just in the regular viewport, settings on Epic have shadows that reach very far away from the camera, settings on cinematic completely remove the far cascades.

I am not seeing this on my end following the steps provided. Are you testing just in the viewport or during play? i.e. PIE, Standalone, New Editor Window
