Changes to the Process for Submitting Unreal Engine Bug Reports

  • We are making some changes on how you can report bugs and issues

  • We will be sunsetting the existing UE bug submission page at https://unrealbugsubmissions.epicgames.com/ on June 15, 2026

  • Starting on June, 15, 2026, you will be able to submit bug reports via the ‘Issues & Bug Reporting’ section of the Unreal Engine forums

  • We’ll use a voting system to understand the severity and persistence of the issue. Once a post (bug report) hits a threshold of 5 upvotes, a ticket will be created in our system

  • Before posting, it is best to perform a search to see if there is already a thread reporting the same issue, which you can then upvote rather than creating a duplicate

  • Note: we can’t guarantee that all bug reports will be reviewed or actioned on

  • Please provide as much detailed information as possible when submitting a report

  • Once submitted, users can continue to interact on the forum thread to provide additional information regarding the issue being reported

  • Status of the bug report can be tracked via the forum thread
