Cel Shader too bright - colors are washed out

Hi everyone,
after following tons of guides on how to create a cel shader I stumbled upon a problem with lighting. I’m applying it through post processing. This is how my cel shader currently looks like:

And this is how it looks like inside the scene (character from behind):

And this is how it looks from the front:

As you can see its way brighter in the front and the colors looked washed out. What I want to achieve is to make the front look more like the back while the back (parts which are not directly exposed to light) is darker instead.

Any ideas on how to fix the lighting?

Another issue is that I have this weird white circles on the ground coming from the direction of the Directional Light of the scene:
