I try to make a helmet with transparent glass in from of the face, but won’t let me do that.
I need to use a normal map, so Translucent Blend Mode cant be used.
I also have a texture that have an alpha value. Unreal gives me 2 alternatives, 0% opacity or 100% opacity.
How can I get thsi to work?
Image 3 is from Blender, and show what Effect I try to get.

Hi,
I need to use a normal map, so
Translucent Blend Mode cant be used.
Under Translucency set the Lightning Mode to “SurfaceTranslucencyVolume”, then you can use Normal maps.

Thank you, but do you know why I can’t select my model when I apply the material to it?
Is it a bug?
No, i cannot select the model when the material is applied to it.
I can only select it from the world outliner.
I also use emissive color to light up some of the model, but the light don’t follow the texture.

You mean you can select it if one material is applied, but you cannot select it any more if another material is applied?
If so, I don’t know, I never had this problem.
