I can’t enter the Golden Rift in creative mode and I don’t know how to fix it.
When I enter the game and go to the console all I see is portal destination locked and no sign of the rift.

I am having this exact same issue and have found no fixes for it either. I submitted a bug report using Alien-Lady’s link, but have gotten no response.

Choose one of your creative islands in the creator portal (click on it and open it)
Then when you go back into creative the portal should be set to that island
Also make sure you havent unstarred them in creator portal as this stops them being accessed
Sadly It doesnt let you click on the portal. Clicking any form of interact key/button while aimed at the console yields no response. I’ve revisited my creative hub several days in a row now and still have this same issue, can’t get passed the “portal destination locked” and there still is no sign of the golden rift.
I dont mean clicking on that portal. I mean click on a different island on create.fortnite.com and make sure it is starred (unstarred ones dont seem to work)
I also can’t access my golden rift. The console does not give me a prompt. I have been contacting epic for over a month now, and the people I have spoke to seem to know nothing about the game. They reset my game files and still nothing. All I want is to create something. This is mind boggling.
I believe it has something to do with transferring from ps4 to ps5 with four years between the two. Any help would be appreciated

I just came across the discussion and, bad news, I’m one more player to have this problem:
- No creative mode
- No golden rift
- Island settings tool not working with that horrible message “Portal destination locked”.
I’ve tried to contact Epic Games player support but unfortunately they don’t help me. My requests are closed every time …
It’s very lonely to be faced with such reactions. The problem can only be solved by Epic Games.
It’s really not right to leave us in this state when we also deserve to enjoy the creative mode, just like everyone else.

This problem happens when the selected island has been ‘unstarred’ in the creator portal (create.fortnite.com)
All you need to do to fix it is to press the star back on your islands and/or click through to a different island on the creator portal which changes the target of the golden rift
After several attempts it still doesn’t work. So it’s not coming from the target… But thanks anyway @X_TyFighter_X
What’s really strange is that the game doesn’t seem to recognize the settings device:

The update solved the problem, thanks to the devs! My old islands from 5 years ago are inaccessible, but the mode is finally working again after so many years! THANK YOU
Yes the golden rift is working now. The latest update fixed the issue

I also have this problem and its annoying, I tried going on UEFN but that just makes it worse, please fix this epic
