Cannot import morph targets from Maya for corrective shapes

Hi

Added corrective morph targets for a Metahuman control rig and it is working fine in Level sequencer. I exported the same character from Level sequencer to Maya as a Fbx file, with the blend shapes I added.

Now I am refining those morph targets in Maya and tried to import them as morph targets using “Import morph target” button, and I am getting this error: “LogInterchangeEngine: Warning: FInterchangeMeshUtilities::ImportMorphTarget: Cannot import morph targets, the imported morph target geometry don’t match target skeletal mesh geometry topology. (LOD index 0)”

Vertex count and orders are same, I just refined the shapes in Maya and delete the history for the particular blend shape and exported as a Fbx file and while importing I am getting this error.

Hi Manikandan,

Would it be possible for you to share the Metahuman assets, the FBX file exported from the level sequence and the one modified in Maya?

That way, it will be easier for us to troubleshoot the issue you are having and provide recommendations on how to fix that issue.
