Cannot activate Hyperwallet after Tax status verification confirmed

I received an email congratulating me that my tax status was verified (after applying for the Island Creator program. When clicking on the link to take me to the Hyperwallet setup, I keep getting sent to this page: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/our-creator-programs-c5719349318939/general-support-c13889284176923/payout-portal-account-activation-for-epic-games-support-a-creator-rewards-and-competitive-prizes-a5720381476251

I’m stuck in a loop unable to proceed to activate my Hyperwallet account. Please advise!

Had the same thing You actually have to go to the Hyperwallet website; if you look for it on Google, Epic Games Pay should appear, and then you just need to click on the activation. Then wait for the activation email. Which I still haven’t gotten.

did you eventually get the email? I did this and i am still waiting.

Alright, you actually have to go to the creator portal and then to the monetization tab, which will allow you to activate the hyperwallet.

So I am having this exact issue. I have been going round and round with Hyperwallet support because they keep telling me that they will not be able to activate my account until I have a payment from epic games. I have tried to follow everything yall did to fix this and nothing has worked. Anything new?

Update: Epic chat support told me that a Hyperwallet activation email will be sent 3-5 business days after the initial email confirming that your tax information has been verified, so it might just be a case of waiting?

I am also having this issue - I’ve tried submitting the correct email address at epicgames.uat.hyperwallet.com via the ‘resend activation email’ link but did not receive an email. I’ve looked under the Monetization tab in the creator portal but can’t see any way to complete the activation process.

I’ve submitted a bug report - I think I am currently blocked from completing registration as a Creator.

Since there is no answer in this thread, while the solution seems to exist, let me walk you through it. It worked for me, might not for you, but I hope it does.

Go to the Creator Portal and log in / link account (should be a button somewhere on the top or just login in top right corner to your epic account - already did that so cannot show this part, but it’s relatively straightforward). Then hit the “CONTINUE ENROLLMENT” button:

On the next page (cause we certainly need so many of them) hit “CONTINUE REGISTRATION”:

You’ll be redirected to the registration process page. Below the listed steps, hit the “ACTIVATE HYPERWALLET ACCOUNT”:

And that’s it.

Didn’t have to wait long for this button to show up. I think it was available right after receiving this email (which I think was a couple of minutes tops):

The status of UCB-1203 incident has been moved from ‘Awaiting Validation’ to ‘Closed’. Resolution Reason: ‘Fixed’

Now the button isnt working for me at all. Im at the step to activate my hyperwallet account, and when clicking the button “Continue Enrollment”, it does absolutely nothing. Support seems to be AI responses and I’ve been going at it for days. Any help from anyone?

I have the same problem, can you reply when you find a solution? I know that last week the button worked but when i tried today it wouldnt work.

oh wow I have the same issue I thought it was just me. Honestly I think your best bet is to wait for support to respond. Make an email request btw because their gonna ask for screenshots and stuff.

Yeah I contacted support and they apparently moved my issue up to a higher team with more tools, and they told me theyre working on it. I hope thats actually true, sometimes support can be unreliable. I’ll let both of you know when I find a fix!

It’s gonna take a long time for them to fix it. I also got moved up to a higher support team like a week ago and they still haven’t fixed the issue. Good luck to you Im praying you have a better experience than what im dealing with
