Bug: Shadow Two Sided. Not Working with Ninate(pics)

First I want to say, Loving UE5. Great job on it and keep up the great work you all do

In this first photo Nanate is Disabled on the asset level and Shadow Two Sided is check on in the details panel and the shadowing works as expected in casting a shadow when there is no back face.

In this second photo Nanate is Enable on the asset level and Shadow Two Sided is on in the details panel and the shadowing is not working as expected. The light is passing through the object.

This is a tool I use a huge amount and hopefully its a “easy” fix. Thanks again

I have the same problem. As I am new to UE I thought it was not a bug … I just did not know how to configure something.

I have also opened this thread to see if someone reports something: How to make double sided shadows on Megascan objects that only have one visible face?
Greetings

Nanite doesn’t support two sided anything, this is working as intended (at least for now)

I had to place geometry just to block light all over a level because of this.

They do this in the demo too ^^

Thanks for the reply. I really hope this gets added soon. Again thanks for the awesome work.

I am relieved to find the same report, but this is still occurring in 5.3.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
