Somehow UE4 always crashes when I rebuild the light in a special map. The swarm agent runs until the end (it even says that the job was successful) but after I click onto “keep” UE4 crashes and gives me this log:
(the first file contains the log that I immediately get after I have clicked onto “keep” and the 2nd the log file from “Logs” folder)
Any ideas how I can solve that problem?

Thanks for your report! I have filed a defect report for the crash you are getting when you rebuild lighting and click Keep. Would it be possible for you to provide a sample map (that either uses our provided content or your own content that you don’t mind sharing with us) that has a similar lighting setup to what you have in your primary map?

I think I found out (Im not 100% sure, because sometimes it works and sometimes not), how I can nearly pass over this problem. I have to create “Unique UVs” with the UE4 for all my meshes (they are causing the crash = the light build works without meshes), but unfortunately that’s not possible for some of them (D3DXMesh → probably the same solution as in UDK works? AllowD3D10 to False in the engine.ini file).
But strange is that UE4 just crashes when I click onto “keep”… and not under or straight after the light build as in UDK.

Thanks for providing those assets! We were able to reproduce your crash locally and are investigating it further now. We will let you know when we have any new information on the crash or any viable work around.
