my terrain look like a mess when i imported a height map
i have tried multible height maps but no cigar ?
What are you exporting from ?
As I recall, this ‘stairs stepping’ occurs when you import a height map, say from data downloaded from USGS or such sites shown here:
http://vterrain.org/Elevation/SRTM/
You can choose last link on page and it may repair it, or you could smooth it out in a 3d app for example.
Hopefullly that link will work, OR REdownload area of interest from one of the other links, say the ones at top of page are good.
