Hi, i’m new to unreal and trying to play with lightning and shadows so i can understand it better.
I’m also wondering what the best practices are for tilemapping a 3D environment. I made a sort of hexagonal corridor shape which i intend to reuse all over the level.
I’m wondering what the best way is putting together a snappable piece like this since i’m getting some weird shadow issues at the mesh edges.
FYI im using a stationary light and my corridor piece has a lightmap resolution of 1024.
Any tips are appreciated.
