This is a new thread for Random audio node does not work on Switch

Steps to Reproduce

Create one cue and use random node and add multiple sounds so every time audio player is started it plays random track.

Compare PC/ PS5 and Switch. On switch it plays the same track again and again.

Expected Result

Random tracks are played by audio player

Observed Result

Same track is used every time

Thanks for reposting this. I always figured Epic wanted it this way due to processing power on the switch but it really is annoying and I hope it can be fixed if it’s a bug.

The status of FORT-999233 changed to ‘Needs Triage’. We’ve confirmed the issue and it’s waiting to be assigned to someone to fix it.

My biggest issue with this voting system is that my initial report was from 2 years ago. And only now it’s being looked into. This system is really not the greatest. Thanks for the update. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.
