I am trying to make it so I can vertex paint a texture onto a surface but it change the physical material assigned to it so I could do something like have a different hit reaction based on if it’s lets say rock or metal. I haven’t figured out a way to do this as it seems pretty hard coded so far that there is one per material.
I have tried stuff like material blend stuff but all of them don’t seem to let you change this as make material attributes doesn’t let you assign a physical material.
Can it be done or am I just an idiot?
