Any control on Anistropic Filtering?


Can we have any control on Anisotropic Filtering?

The controls you have so far is enabling/disabling anisotropic filtering per each texture group as well as r.MaxAnisotropy console command.

I mean 2x 4x 8x 16x settings which are enforced globally. I believe this is a very basic setting. Is there really no way to control that?

That is what r.MaxAnisotropy does. It defaults to 8x I believe. You can define one in quality presets.

It was hard to see the effect. But it’s working.
