Answerhub: There was an error contacting the remote service

I also cannot access udn. I get this error as well

Hi, we have encountered the same error when we tried to login into the UDN.

“There was an error contacting the remote service”

We were granted with the access to the UDN but is not working anymore.

Thanks.

Same for me.

I’ve confirmed that none of your Epic Accounts (which you logged in with to make these forum posts) have been added to the private UDN support site.

If you belong to a company which does have access to the UDN, please speak to the individual within your company who manages team access to the UDN.

Thank you.

Sorry about that, i am new on unreal, and i saw after the fact is a private network.
but i am really strugling to found information and i have this idea, it can help a community a lot, but not sur if it’s possible.

Same problem, Please help

I have the exact same issue. Some of these posts are a year old. Is my region a problem? It’s frustrating…
I have a problem with my game. I was barely able to post a question to answer hub, now I’m considering UDN support but I can’t get to the page.

Same issue. I have it when trying to log in to answerhub (account is being logged in on forums persistantly, but stays logged off in answerhub for some reason).

I don’t see any issue on the backend, your Answerhub account looks ok. By all appearances you should be able to log into answers.unrealengine.com

You don’t even have an account on answers.unrealengine.com. What happens when you try to login?

Yes, you were experiencing the bug which blocks login. I have fixed this.

The UDN site is private, it is expected to be unavailable to those without special access.

Hello. I am experiencing this problem too. Can you help, please? I have access to the Switch Dev Kit, and I would like to see the documentation on UDN. I get this error (“There was an error contacting the remote service”) every time I try to access the documentation

The UDN is a private site which you have not been granted access to and is only for those with custom licenses.
Instead, you will find the documentation you are looking for on these forums. A private ‘Switch’ forum has been made available to you at the bottom of the ‘Development Discussion’ section. (you may need to log out and back in if you don’t see it)

Thank you, Stephen. Very helpful. Does this offer the latest Switch documentation? Also, how can I go about getting access to the UDN site? Thank you for your assistance

I’m not aware of the status of the documentation, but I’ve reached out to our Documentation team to confirm.

To inquire about a custom license for support terms and access to the UDN, please follow this link.

Hello,

I have an issue with my answerhub account, I can’t post questions and I always have this error message : There was an error contacting the remote service once i sign in.

I have read the different questions in this post and I thought that maybe there is something wrong with my account and maybe you can fix it ?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards

I have fixed your Answerhub account.
