All parent-child relationships are removed at runtime

Hey @Epic Can we get some idea of when we can expect a fix? A day, a week, a month? Never?

I really hope we can get an official update on this. A few of our maps can not be updated due to this bug. If this will take weeks or months to fix we need to spend the time to find alternate solutions. If this will be fixed in a few more days, etc. we can probably hold out.

I know some of these issues can take time to diagnose and then schedule to fix but some type of timeline would really help everyone who is affected.

Yea same, would really appreciate any sort of ETA on when this will be fixed. Currently have to postpone a release of a game I’ve worked months on until this is fixed :confused:

Same here, it only happens on our latest map. Not on our older projects while our child parent setup is 1:1

Thank you for deploying a hotfix for this! We undid a lot of parent child relationships in our Golf map this week, but we had one where we had a volume device attached to a cloud that was utilizing an animation controller. That was broken with this bug and we did NOT attempt to make a change. I just tried it in UEFN editor session and appears to be working. YAY! Thank you!

Everything is fixed for me ! thank you so much for your effort , just one small thing which is not affecting anything at all but im mentioning it just in case it helps with anything

These child actors do not have the original rotation they have on the editor , but it’s not affecting the gameplay in anyways , other than that everything is just working fine
