Aligning Images: Feature not implemented

Hi everyone,

I’ve encountered this problem, a red rectangle claiming that the image alignment feature is not implemented. I was able to use RealityScan yesterday without any problems but today I’ve gotten this error on three different machines with different hardware (RTX 4070, RTX 4090, Quatro T2000 Max-Q), both on Win10 and Win11. I’ve tried to import various image sets, taken by a camera, exported from a .cine video, and generated by Blender. I’m always able to import the images but once I try to run the alignment process, I get this.

This problem persists even when I try to use RealityScan from the CLI. Reinstalling or verifying the app didn’t help. I’m having the problem both in 2.0 and 2.1.

Has anyone dealt with this?

Hi @markSmile , probably some combination of settings is causing this. Resetting to default will probably resolve this, but before you reset it, it would be great if you could share the RealityScan global config file and a few images with us so we can reproduce the issue and see if we can fix it.

Hello @JakubVanko, thank you for the quick response.

I’ve reset the app settings but nothing really changed. Anyways, I’m sending you my global config file – unfortunately, I can’t send attachments as a new user, so the sample images along with the config file can be downloaded from here: Limewire
