Hi,I’m a IOS Game developer, after the UE4 release i turn my project from UDK to UE4 asap.
But the problem is,under the ES2 preview mode(also on mobile device), all the dynamic object can’t cast shadow event the character in the “Content Example”(the guy in UE3 Demo).I found a document in UDN(“Lighting for Mobile Platforms” Rendering Features for Mobile Games in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.2 Documentation)
In the “Support Feature” it says"Dynamic objects receive lighting correctly but do not cast shadows".
I’m very curious about this problem. In UE3 a character can cast it’s shadow correctly(like InfinityBlade),an Kactor can cast shadow too.
Do i miss something import?Cause i really need dynamic shadow in my project(even if a Character)!
I have the same question here, it seems Android doesn’t support realtime shadow as well.
yep…UE4 disapointed me…
Yeah i also waiting for information.
As was answered in the other question, it should be added in March. So we need to wait a little bit more.
